Any film launch event has many celebrity well-wishers and other special invitees apart from the cast and crew of the film. If not at least the lead pair and the lead crew are least expected in the launch ceremony. But something unusual happened in Tollywood today.
Superstar Mahesh much awaited movie in Koratala Shiva direction inaugurated today morning in Padmalaya studios. The occasion has been graced by many bigwigs of the industry like K Raghavendra Rao, Dil Raju, Bellamkonda Suresh, M Shyam Prasad Reddy, VV Vinayak et al.
The surprise element is that hero Mahesh Babu was seen missing in the launch ceremony. Instead his wife Namrata Shirodkar has attended the function on his behalf.
Actress Shruti Haasan will be teaming up with superstar Mahesh Babu. To be directed by Koratala Siva, the film will also feature Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu, Sampath Raj and Brahmanadam in important roles.
Shruti, who recently shook a leg with Mahesh for an item number in upcoming Telugu actioner "Aagadu", will play his lead for the first time. Movie regular shooting will be started after Aagadu release in September.
